While one cannot help but believe the sending of millions of dollars in aid to belabored Bangladesh, a country recovering from a vicious storm that has left thousands homeless and killed hundreds, is a very altruistic thing to do, but would it not be even more altruistic if we were to spend a few of those millions aiding our very own storm victims in New Orleans?

A cynic might even say that we are grandstanding in an attempt to offset our barbaric actions in the Mid-East.

Whatever the reason it is unfortunate that we put our own people at the end of the line and pander to others in the name of brotherhood. It would be a much better display of brotherhood if we had left other people alone and stopped threatening any country that may not agree with us and had stopped dropping bombs all over Iraq...

As each month passes another so called ally pulls its troops out of Iraq and very soon we will be the only ones left there.

How long the American people will tolerate the stupidity of our foreign policies is a question begging for an answer.
