Mountain Shadows

Living in our foothills is an experience that everyone should have for it is here in this unique environment that we are able to enjoy the best of two worlds. First of all we are not too far from urban civilization and at the same time we are still very close to the great outdoors.

Where else can you walk beneath towering pines while watching a pair of robins plucking for worms between nodding golden and white daffodils and then just a few minutes later be strolling through a class “A” supermarket that has everything from oysterss to eggplants so elegantly displayed with other mist covered produce? Where else I ask can you move from one splendid outdoor scene to a modern up to date convenient shopping experience. Where? What city?

And right now in the middle of March and within just a matter of days the lovely musk scented mountain lupine will be splashing purple streaks across the mountain’s meadows and you don’t have to drive for hours to see this. Just walk around on one of our slightly traveled mountain roads and open your eyes.

Spring in the foothills is just a breath or two away. Living in our foothills gives
one the opportunity to experience life at its fullest. Wondrous.
