Face Painting all finished
Sponsored by Infant/Child Enrichment Services the 18th Annual Children's Fair in the Park
had lots of things for kids to do.
There were booths from many of the pre-schools in the area each
offering hands on crafts. The clean mud activity was
offering hands on crafts. The clean mud activity was
a success after the kids got their hands in it (toilet paper torn into small bits with soap and
water).
The California High Patrol Booth even had a real baby to demonstrate a safe car seat.
The Mariposa Sheriff's department set up an obstacle course that the kids could weave their bikes through .
There were tumbling mats and tubes to wiggle through.

The Fire Safe Trailer was there to show the kids how to get out of a burning house. One of the
most exciting events was the Mariposa Fire
Department's hook and ladder that the kids could climb into and sound the siren.
There was a Martial Arts demonstration and Face Painting.

A lot of thought and work went into this event and all the kids seemed
to be having a great time.
