Students bring their own sewing machines to class
Merced College offers a non-credit class, in sewing for Seniors
Class in Mariposa. Non-credit classes are designed for all adults students over the age of 16. There is no
registration fee. The class is held year round.
Students choose and work on their own projects in sewing interiors,
dress making, mending and alterations with guidance from the instructor. All levels of sewers are welcome.
Materials are provided by the students. The High School no longer offers Home Economics Classes so the students
come to this class and it counts
toward their High School credits.
