at the
February
25th meeting
of the
Mariposa
Pines/Jerseydale
Fire Safe
Committee at
the
Jerseydale
Forest
Station. He
presented
the proposed
Community
Wildland
Fire
Protection
Plan for
Jerseydale/Mariposa
Pines in
Mariposa
County.
Mariposa
Fire Chief
Wilson and a
large
audience of
neighbors
attended. A
lively
question and
answer
period
followed as
well as
refreshments
and
fellowship.
The next
Mariposa
Pines/Jerseydale
Fire Safe
Committee
regular
membership
meeting will be
held on March 25th at Jerseydale
Forest Station
at 7:00 pm.

will be served.
New members are
encouraged to
attend. Please

There are
no dues or fees.
Meetings are
held the fourth
Wed. of each
month.
The mission of
the Committee is
to preserve the
natural and
man-made
resources in the
Mariposa Pines
and Jerseydale
Area by
mobilizing the
residents to
make their homes
and
neighborhoods
fire safe. It is
also the
intention of the
Committee to
raise funds,
acquire land,
and build a
Firehouse for
the good of the
community.
