Every schoolboy and girl knows the brilliance of William Shakespeare was his uncanny understanding of human nature, but, how many people know that like the monk Nostradamus he could see well into the future and in fact was often inspired by what he saw in his visions? Possibly the most obvious of this is his play,” Much Ado About Nothing”. Perhaps, his concept came about one day as he envisioned a conflict in California involving Yosemite National Park and an imagined development on a parcel of land called Hazel Green. It seems that many people were embroiled in arguments and lawsuits over this imagined development on the property by a developer from Southern California. But the reality is this so called “project” in fact does not really exist because in order to become a project an application for one must be filed with the planning department within the county. In the case of Hazel Green as of April 27, 2008 no application for Hazel Green had ever been filed and therefore no such project exists. And so when the great Bard envisioned Hazel Green he had the inspiration for a play he would call: "Much Ado About Nothing” James Heth
