Now that all the dust has settled and the biting and the scratching of the Democratic primary are over, the question of the “ticket” arises. The important thing now is to create a ticket and a campaign that will prevent another Republican from getting into the White House. The former combatants must  forget the past battles and do what is best for the party and the country.

To that end it becomes crystal clear that having Hillary Clinton on the ticket would make it near impossible for McCain to be elected regardless of how much money and slime the Republicans may throw around. 

An Obama/Clinton combination would completely unite the Democrats and their combined ideas would create a platform that will not only be historic in its dimensions but according to the polls unbelievably popular and would reach far across party lines luring Republicans as well as Independents in large numbers.

Hillary Clinton has already considered this possibility.  She has stated that the decision was Obama’s to make and that she would do whatever was going to be asked of her and many believe that today Saturday June 7, 2008 when she makes her announced exit speech she might announce that she has been offered that spot on the ticket and will accept and do everything she can to support Obama.

I hope he makes the offer and I hope she accepts because I am certain that an Obama/Clinton ticket would sweep into the White House in a landslide. 

Obama is absolutely correct in saying that a major change in Washington is needed and the time is “NOW”!

Our country has and is still suffering mightily from the failed conservative policies and the presence of the Republican, George Bush in the White House. 

“NOW”, is indeed the time for “Change”.
