There are those who believe that because of their family’s wealth or the notoriety of their relatives that the world owes them special privileges. Such is the case with Caroline Kennedy. Here is a person without any qualifications whatsoever who believes that because of her relatives she should be appointed to the Senate seat left vacant by Hillary Clinton. Never mind the fact that there are several highly qualified people in line for this post for “Sweet” Caroline apparently thinks they should be cast aside for after all she is a Kennedy with lots and lots of money and in her world that’s what really matters. It is a shame that hard work, experience, and public service take a second place to family connections and family money in the world of modern politics It’s a pity that such a legacy should turn out to be so selfish.
