Sprang

Well, Spring has most definitely Sprang and this year with a,”ring-a –ding-dang.".  Spring flowers are bursting out all over and now we have golden poppies, baby blue eyes, fiddle necks, yellow mustard buds and a number of other delightful flowers covering our hillsides in glowing baths of loveliness.  Spring makes us aware as to how fortunate we are to live here within the mountain’s shadows.

 

            And can you imagine how difficult it must be to live in a city bound by asphalt streets and roads that are criss-crossed with sagging black wires and where seldom if ever will you hear the chirping of birds and you will never see a humming bird flitting about a flower or watch a crow trying to pick up an acorn?.

 

            Yes indeed, we are so fortunate to live within a mountain shadows..
