"Heritage Days" was celebrated at the Mariposa Museum and History Center on Memorial Day weekend, May 24 and 25.
The grounds were filled with exhibits and activities that honor California's past and the people who lived here.
This is the Museum's 51st year of preserving and teaching about our regional history.
On Sunday, pioneer families of early Mariposa County were on hand with photos, documents and memorabilia of their
family heritage.
A bake shop and plant sale helped to support museum projects, and raffle tickets were available for the beautiful handmade quilt.
Sunday's activities included stamp mill operation and observing the black smith shop in operation as well.
