Shawna Dahl and Sheryl Leisure are combining their talents and experience with horses to
open the Equine Art & Learning Center.
Dahl provides Basic Horsemanship classes including all levels of Riding Lessons and
Workshops. Foal Handling, Trail Safety Preparation, Bomb Proofing and many other activities are also on the
roster of future events. Seventeen horses from stud stallions, breeding mares, foals and horses that can be
used for riding lessons can be found on the 10 acre ranch.

Leisure who has an extensive background in art and model horses will teach Model Horse
activities including Sculpture, Air Brushing, Drawing Horses, Model Horse Shows, Crafts and Games for Kids and
much more. She has a degree in art and has worked for Breyer Model Horses designing and coordinating many
model horse events around the country. Leisure will have her own workshop in a small cottage located at the
ranch.
The Center will feature fun, affordably priced activities for horse lovers including
hands-on clinics with live horses and classroom style seminars for both children as young as five and adults
The two women will host an open house at the new Equine Art and Learning Center on
December 6th at 2:00 pm. There will be Food Fun, Activities, Door Prizes and much more, just
