Kevin Cann Says Thanks

Having been motivated by the outpouring of trust and support from across District 4 and throughout the County, my thanks expressed here is sincere. I have spoken with hundreds of folks and learned from each one. If elected in the run-off in November, I very much look forward to leaving the National Park Service and serving full time as Mariposa County District 4 Supervisor.

What an exciting time the primary has been for residents of District 4. Having four good candidates made us all work a little harder to show voters how each intends to represent the district and tackle the unprecedented financial and governance issues currently confronting our County. Bob Borchard and Dianne Fritz are good people. They won’t be in the run-off election, but have given tirelessly of themselves with the intention of making Mariposa County a better place to live. I wish them well and trust they will advise both Tom and me in the future from their wealth of experience.

Tom Phillips has run a good campaign. He has shown himself to have integrity and a desire to learn the issues. I look forward to continuing the campaign with Tom during the coming months when both of us will have the opportunity to outline the differences in our experience, background and accomplishments so that the voters of District 4 can once again express their preference at the polls.

Thank you District 4,

Kevin Cann
