We, the Crawford family, have a story.

Our family pet, Midnight, was given to us a week and a half ago from a private owner. This private owner told us very little about her.

        A week after we got her, she became really sick and needed surgery to live. We took her to one Vet who told us that if we didn’t have the money up front, they wouldn’t help us save her life. We were crying. Our kids were upset and didn’t understand what was going on. This particular Vet’s office recommended we should put her down.

        We felt that wasn’t the right thing to do.

We felt that she had a lot of life and love to give. We tried to get a line of credit and called everyone we knew to try and get help. No one could although they wanted to.

        It was suggested that we connect with the Mariposa S.P.C.A. A wonderful, caring woman by the name of Jeanette, listened with a caring and understanding ear. At the end of our conversation, and without any hesitation, she said that she would help both financially and by connecting us with a willing Vet.

        If it wasn’t for the Mariposa S.P.C.A, our Midnight wouldn’t be with us today.

        We found out from the Hoof ‘N’ Paw Veterinary hospital in Oakhurst that Midnight had 3 decaying huge babies inside her, which had been there for a while.

        They did the surgery and were so kind, understanding, and loving while Midnight was in their care.

        We want to give a huge thanks to the both of them.

We take for granted the Mariposa S.P.C.A. and what they are all about.

        The Mariposa S.P.C.A does have a Thrift store, and all the money they make goes back to their animal shelter and assisting animals in need.

        This place takes in animals that have been thrown away, neglected, or abused.  They feed them, give them medical care, a home, and most of all love.

        This place needs our Community’s help in caring for these animals and finding them a good loving home.

This place is a wonderful place to go if you want wonderful, special care and above and beyond standard service. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who really loves their animals.
