Thanks and Blessings to You All!

On June 2^nd while walking my dog on Rainbow Road in Ponderosa Basin my dog was badly attacked and my finger was bitten by a German Shepherd.  We called Dr. Bissmeyer and we were told to bring Dog in right away.  After dropping off Dog at All Creatures we went to JCF Emergency for me.

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!  To  Dr. Bissmeyer and your staff at All Creatures for taking care of and being so kind to Dog during his operation, his overnight stay and all his checkups.  He was an extremely hurt little guy and we knew he was in good hands.

 I also want to THANK the staff at JCF Emergency for my care.

Dog and I are still both recovering from our wounds.  I would have written sooner but I couldn’t type with my left hand, then came the fire.

Our Thanks and Gratitude also go out to all the firefighters, tankers, spotters, pilots et al who have been working the Oliver Creek fire in Ponderosa Basin.   You all are AWESOME!  

THANKS to the owner of the little lake where the helicopters have been getting their water. I truly hope your water will be replaced soon.  I can’t imagine what would have happened if you and your little lake were not available.

Last, but not least, after this lightning storm and fires I do hope everyone will send in their YES vote for the $80 fee for new fire engines.  Our firefighters need and deserve new fire engines and for 22 cents a day I know we will feel much better knowing the engines can get up the roads to our homes.
