The Seven Puppies By Linda Gast

These seven Terrier mix puppies were rescued by Animal Control Officer Erin Andrews.

Officer Andrews had to crawl under a house to get the puppies and they were skin and bones from not being fed. She tried but was not able to catch the mother. Erin took a personal interest in the puppies, even after they were taken to the Mariposa SPCA.

The puppies have been at the SPCA now for three weeks and they are healthy and thriving. Volunteer, Crystal Daniel comes into feed the puppies in the evening after the shelter has closed.

It is really hard to tell what breed of dogs they are, but judging by their feet they are not going to be very big dogs. The really interesting thing is each one of them looks different.
I guess they are what I affectionately call "Mariposa Dogs". The puppies will be spayed\neutered, given all their shots, and will be ready for adoption in a couple of weeks.
