Young Flying Eagle ready for flight!

A fabulous day at the Fly In on Saturday September 26, 2009  as quite a few residents and curious tourists visited the Airport. The weather was a little warm but their was a snow-cone machine that was kept busy through the day.

Some of the young ones were taken up in the air for their first ever flight and when getting off of the planes they had ear to ear smiles on their faces. Inky's Band was on hand making delightful music and plenty of Tri-Tips were on the grill. The Airport had quite a few booths set up with information on flying and the Mariposa County Chamber of Commerce was on hand with their booth as well.

Tireless promoter, Gary Walker was walking around handing out pamphlets to the weekends, 'Weekend in the Country' to everyone he encountered at the Fly In. Plenty of planes were on display including experimental planes. Mr. Butler was also in attendance as quite a few folks were gathered around checking out one of his Hang Gliders.
