This event is sponsored by
Mariposa Golden Agers who own the Mariposa County Senior
Activity Center. Proceeds from Bingo are used to help with the
maintenance and upkeep of the building. The Center is home to
many community events including Bridge Club, Rotary meetings,
art and sewing classes, and more. The Nutrition Program offers
a noon meal Monday-Friday for seniors.
Because attendance at the
monthly Bingo has continued to fall over the past year, the
Board of Directors of Mariposa Golden Agers will be reevaluating
whether or not to continue this means of fundraising for the
Center.
If you value the Senior
Center and would like to offer your support, please attend Bingo
on the first Friday of each month and bring your family and
friends who are at least 18 years old. A snack bar and free
coffee are available. You will have a fun time and know that
you are contributing to the Mariposa community.
