call requesting that someone check on a controlled burn near Coulterville
that was burning during the evening hours. The second call, also during the
evening hours, was from someone who said that they were smelling smoke on
Ben Hur Road.

Someone stole some scrap metal from Sweetwater Road.
Out on the Jerseydale Road someone abandoned a vehicle.

One reported accident in the county yesterday and that accident took place
on Jerseydale Road during the very early morning hours.
A mountain lion was sighted on Hunters Valley Road.
The caller from Hunters Valley Road reported a missing
Yellow Labrador Retriever.

A stray cat was on Boyer Road.
An assault and battery that occurred on East Whitlock Road had a resident
going to the county lock-up for awhile.
A hit and run took place on Twin Peaks Road during the late morning hours.
Harassment/Threats were reported from the high school in Mariposa.
During the early afternoon hours suspicious circumstances were
observed on Smith Road.
Over on Pauline Drive a child was locked in a vehicle.
Back on Mount Ophir Road a couple of neighbors were having a dispute.
Someone found some dynamite on Penon Blanco Road.
And Finally, The caller from Hites Cove Road reported a missing 'Schnorkie.'

One reported accident in the county yesterday and that accident took place
on Merced Falls Road during the noon hour that involved property damage.
A resident on Triangle Road reported a missing Black Labrador
Retriever puppy.
A resident on Oak Road called in about a loose dog problem.
A stray small red colored dog was at the Senior Center in Mariposa.
During the 2:00 A.M. hour suspicious circumstances were reported from
Rastro Way and Sherrod Road.
Check fraud was reported from Bear Creek Drive.
During the evening hours a vehicle was on Smith Station Road without chains.
Also during the evening hours a truck was stuck on the Harris Cut-Off Road.
With the rainy weather rock slides were reported around the county yesterday
from the 140 near Briceburg to East Westfall Road where the road was
reported to be washing away. During the evening hours several vehicles were
stuck in the snow on 49 South near Chowchilla Mountain Road.
And Finally, During the morning hours a call came in about a lost white
colored Labrador Retriever on 49 then a while later another call came in
about a found white colored Labrador Retriever on 49 North.

One reported accident in the county yesterday and that incident according to
the CHP log was that as a school bus driver was braking a child fell off of
a seat in the bus on 49 South near Chowchilla Mountain Road.
A lost Mastiff was reported from Hornitos Road.
During the morning commute hours a pedestrian was on Darrah Road.
During the 6:00 A.M. hour suspicious circumstances that were occurring on
Pendola Gardens Road resulted in someone getting a warning from
the Sheriff Department.
A credit card was found in Mariposa County somewhere on the 140.
A call about someone being harassed came in from Gavilan Road.
A couple of neighbors were failing to just get along on Saint Andrews Road.
During the very late evening hours someone was playing LOUD
disturbing music on Guadalupe Creek Road.
And Finally, Out on Indian Rock Lane the caller reported Internet Fraud.

took place during the later morning hours on Jones Street.
A cow was on the Merced Falls Road during the morning commute hours.
(Never a boring commute in Mariposa County.)
A Rat Terrier was found near the intersection of Colorado and Lakeside
Drive.
During the late morning hours a suspicious person was observed near the area
of the 140 and Elizabeth lane in the Catheys Valley area.
Credit card fraud was reported from Tip Top Road.
Forgery of an access card was reported from Logtown Road.
A resident on Darrah Road reported a phone scam.
And Finally, More neighbor problems in Mariposa County yesterday.
The first neighbors that were failing to get along were on Mount Ophir Road
and the second set of neighbors that had a falling out were on the 140 in
Catheys Valley.
