Mark your calendars for May 22nd from 11:00 to 6:00 pm and experience all the new happenings at the 6th Annual Rotary Fine Art & Wine Festival! A spectacular gathering of California's finest wineries highlighting their favorites at our historic courthouse lawn location. Wine enthusiastic will grab their glass and start swirling and sipping while having the opportunity to ‘ask the winemaker’ questions on everything in the wine making process from ‘grapes to glass’.

Some of the wineries attending this year are Mt. Bullion Vineyard, Silver Fox, Chappell Vineyards and Butterfly Creek from Mariposa, Keenan from St. Helena, Idle Hour from Madera County and Zucca from Calaveras County. New this year Savoury’s Restaurant will be offering selected wines from their extensive wine list and Pioneer Market will pour selected wines from their list of  favorites. Plus the Mariposa Brewing Company will also be on site for tasting.

The fabulous juried art show featuring top artists of the region is the perfect setting to appreciate the one-of-a-kind creations while chatting with the artists who are presenting their original works. From paintings to photography, from pottery to jewelry, hats to spice rubs, there is sure to be something you just can't live without or for that perfect gift! Adra Holland is our featured artist this year. Stop by and meet this amazing self-taught artist. Also new this year is the “Small Wonders” exhibit. This is a collection of over 70 small original art pieces donated by artists from all over the country to support the Mariposa Rotary Club’s Community Gifting program. Viewers are able to buy raffle tickets in anticipation of winning the artworks they are interested in. It’s a small but mighty way to help Rotary support our wonderful community.

The show is currently on display at Westamerica Bank located at 5121 Highway 140 and at the Mariposa County Administration Building at 5100 Bullion Street. Stop by before the festival and decide which is your favorite ‘Small Wonder’. BB’s Catering and Sal’s Mexican Restaurant will be creating new and exciting tasty treats for your dining pleasure while live music from Pacific Vibes keeps the party going all day.

Entrance to the festival is free. For ten dollars you are able to purchase a commemorative 2010 wine glass and tasting tickets. Spend the day relaxing with your friends and family while stimulating your artistic juices!
