What a busy, busy day yesterday was.
The weather was great and I think everyone decided
to leave the house.
At the Lushmeadows Art and Hobby show, a crowd was already gathered by 9:30 in the morning !
Old cars, paintings, scuplture, photographs and model ship's were on display. All hobby's of the Lushmeadows residents !
Even Author Rochelle Frank was there signing copies of her book. 'So What,Saw-Whet? '

It was nice to finally meet Rochelle after numerous e-mails back and forth to each other.
It was a pleasure to meet all the talented artists that live in Lushmeadows.
Hopefully this will become an annual event.
The Butterfly Festival in Mariposa had a huge crowd as we made our way into town.
Merchants were out selling, buyers were out doing what they do best, buying! Inky's band was playing while neighbors and tourists exchanged stories of their adventures in life.
Making it over to Snyders Pow Wow in Valley Springs where the rockhounds were gathered the day turned into a talkfest as besides digging for rocks the next best thing rockhounds like to do is talk about rocks !!
This is the premier event in the area if you are seriously into rocks. Items were for sale from .50 cents to over $5,000.00 !!
As the sun set in the West, the dealers closed up shop for another day and slowly the customers made their way back to their cars for the drive home and dreams of rocks as they fell asleep !
