Alert: Possibly the 140 will be open for travel on Wednesday. I found a photo of the slide on the net from Chris Falkenstein a photographer and a resident of Yosemite since 1972 !! Chris rode his bicycle on the old train roadbed down the river to get this shot. After looking at the slide photo click on the link to his photo site. He takes very, very good photo's !! Here is the link to the slide photos: http://www.wunderground.com/wximage/viewsingleimage.html?mode=singleimage&handle=yosemiteclimber&num ber=43&album_id=21&thumbstart=0&gallery=#slideanchor |

Hi Randy, I knew you would know where the photo was taken Photos inside of Bower cave will wait for another day. It was rainy and dark when we were there. But I pushed the ISO to 1,600 so I could hand hold the camera !! Remember the cave needs permission to go to. Get the permit at the Groveland Ranger Station !! |
