James Mason Hutchings grave in Yosemite National Park

James Mason Hutchings one of the first white settlers
in Yosemite valley is buried in the Yosemite Cemetery
near the information center.
Some of his family are buried with him as the big
headstone on the left has inscription's naming other
family members on the sloping sides.

Looks like the 140 is still closed according to the DMV highway site and the phone number !!
It was supposed to be open this morning and in fact the DMV web site said controlled traffic.
They must be having safety problems with that hillside !!
