No thunder today but the clouds returned for another show of ever changing shapes.
Hottest day of the year so far as we soared to 86.1 degrees up here.
A big change in the weather for Friday as a weather system moves in bringing a possiblity of evening rain !!

Those supes and deputies in Mariposa are still at an impasse on their contract !
They are talking about putting up guardrails on the Old Priest Grade, thus taking a lot of thrill (scares) out of that road from Groveland to Sonora.
Try it now before they change it !!
And the Vietnam War Memorial is in Fresno for a few days. Visit it and never forget those who gave their lives for our freedoms we enjoy !!!

Have you been watching the Stock market in the last few days ?? Just maybe our timing on our Blog from 5-05-06 was right !!

And yes it is still early in the year.
And also true if you leave your money in the market for the last three months of the year and first three months of the following year and then pull out and wait till October again you can usually beat the averages. Do you agree with that ?
Oh yeah, the S&P is still underwater from when our current president took office in Jan 2000.
In going on six years the money you had at the end of 1999 is more than you have now! 401k's so much better than a regular pension, who believes that ?

As an equity trader, we know summer trading is something you usually avoid. Trade from Oct to May then go away, as the old saying goes. However, for the "investers" you just sit out the ups and downs and look at the Long Run. All your answers are in the charts!
