of Mariposa a winery can be seen that is busy
planting vines that in a few years will produce
another locally grown wine.
The town of Mariposa is located behind
the front mountain top on the right in the photo.

We feel that too many voters get their information on who to vote for out of media outlets on who or what they recommend. Remember to ask yourself, why do they recommend that person or ballot measure ? Sometimes there are hidden agendas by the endorsements !! The best way to find the best way to vote is to read about the person or issue as thoroughly as one can or observe the person in what they do. Remember actions speak louder than words !! Specifically to Mariposa: Do your E-mails get an answer or are they too busy for you to answer an E-mail ? Attend all the board meetings ! You can learn a lot just by being there and observing your supervisors. Are they Pandering or Really Caring about a given situation ? Remember Your Vote Puts that person in office or not or if that ballot measure passes or not !! Do not complain later. Finally if you think you can do better, run for office !!
