The Groveland Hotel In Groveland,California

The Groveland Hotel !
Sit on the front porch and watch the world go by.
When you are in Groveland, California stop by this
hotel for a rare treat in old fashioned hospitality in a building
that dates from the Gold Rush Days !

Yesterday as we were out looking for old gold mines in the north of Mariposa County we decided to make a run into Groveland, California.

One of the first things you see when coming into Groveland from the south is the Groveland Hotel. It is big and colorful with its light yellow and deep red paint and gorgeous flowers all around.

Park the car wherever you can !
Stroll around the town and look around.
We had fun just sitting on the porch of the hotel watching the summer tourists go by.

We will have to plan a trip back there again when time permits so we can discover all the little gems in this town. And to make up a page for all the things to do in the Groveland area.

If you know that area, send us an e-mail with your favorite things to do !!
