It is going to be hot today, tomorrow, this weekend and on and on.
As you can see in the sheriff report on the front page the animals are going to have to be looked after as they will need water and shade. Do not hesitate to call if you see an animal that needs some atterntion. You could be all they have between living and dying !

Carry water bottles and sunscreen this weekend and do not over do it this weekend !

At the Supervisor meeting a lady was talking about the Designated Buddy program in Mariposa.
Basically it is about someone being assigned to watch a child at all times, near water, hiking or anywhere to keep that child safe and sound.

We feel the same way and support this program as you read about it time and again in the paper when a child drowns that no one was watching or the adults thought someone else was watching the child.

The Farmers Market & Street Fair was great! We had a good turn out and everyone I talked to said they enjoyed the evening. The music was wonderful and thoroughly enjoyed. Thanks to all of the vendors and customers for supporting this wonderful event and a special "Thanks" to Dell Nell for all of your hard work in getting everything organized.
