Mariposa On A Smoke Filled Sunset

A fire burning on Bear Valley Rd. and a Southerly blowing breeze
created a dramatic evening sky last night in Mariposa
for locals and tourists alike as the setting sun reflected
it's rays off of the smoke filled air.

Whatever happened to the people of Iraq welcoming us wih open arms and flowers along with the promise of lower fuel prices ?
