Head to Tioga Pass, Sonora Pass or anywhere around 10,000 feet of elevation if you can.
At a rate of -3 degrees for every 1000 feet of elevation gain, Tioga Pass should be about 30 degrees cooler than the Central Valley. |

We are test driving some new backend software to see what connection speeds people are running when viewing the Goldrushcam / Sierra Sun Times.
We are going to try to reduce the loading time of some pages for those of you still with dial up.
Yes there are few of you still on dial up.
Also a few still run screen resolutions of 800 x 600. This site looks better at 1280 x 768 with the view set to medium or normal.
Need to know how to change those settings ?
