Lichen In Mariposa County

Lichens growing in the area seem to come in two
colors, a burnt orange and a light green color.
A taxonomist would have a great time studying
these lichens while photographers enjoy the color
play against the rocks with sunlight filtering in.

Was it HOT yesterday ?
Up here it was the hottest day of the year so far, as the thermometer just kept climbing higher and higher before topping out at 98.2 !
Whew.

Could be a repeat today.
And then on Tuesday and the following few days, clouds are going to move in, more than likely making our watercoolers underperform.
As the higher the humidty the worse watercoolers work.
