With record setting high temps in the area and monsoonal
moisture being brought up from Southern California, the
sunsets in the foothills of California have been very
gorgeous as we just stop what we are doing and watch
the ever changing colors before the suns reflections
go away for another night.

We recorded 103.3 at the Official Mariposa Goldrushcam / Sierra Sun Times Weather Station. Three degrees hotter than the hottest day last year. Even the butterflys were clinging to our open screen windows enjoying the cool air from the watercooler. 103.3 degrees outside 78 degrees inside, A 25 degree temperature difference just by running water through some pads and keeping the windows open ! Could be very interesting weather today as more clouds are in the area and the flash flood alert is still in effect for Yosemite. Oh, Yes, it is supposed to be even hotter today
