Merced River,Mariposa Photos,Mariposa 2004

This is on the Merced River just south of where the North Fork of the Merced River joins the main river.
The river flattens out wider in the canyon and slows down. An air of serenity takes over as the sound of the rough
and tumble of the river racing over the rocks back upstream fades away.
