Jeffrey Pine On Top Of Sentinel Dome

This famous Jeffrey Pine tree on top of Sentinel Dome in
Yosemite National Park, dead now for 29 years, gets smaller and
smaller every year as heavy winter snows, spring rains and howling winds
break the tree apart into smaller pieces leaving only the heavy gnarled
trunk to fight the forces of nature.

Wow, I love this picture. I haven't been up on Sentinel Dome for awhile. Thanks for the nice shot. Keep up the good work, I really enjoy your site.
