An early morning email from Hutch via Marilyn Lidyoff Some good news……. Financial relief from July's heat wave is in the future for your business. PG&E will provide every single electric customer with a one-time credit based on their electricity bills for July, putting $125-150 million back in the hands of customers. October's PG&E bills will contain one-time credits of 15 percent for all residential customers and 10 percent for all other customers (agricultural, business, commercial and governmental entities), based on the individuals’ electricity bills for the period that included the July heat storm. For some customers, the heat storm period may span two billing cycles—in which case the company will look at both bills and provide a credit based on the larger bill. Thank you again for partnering with PG&E and for voluntarily reducing load during July's unprecedented heat wave. Your efforts were very helpful and greatly appreciated. If you have any questions please give me a call. Phillip Pennino Account Manager PG&E (209) 942-1730 Wow ! Can you believe this a rebate of 15% off of your bill. Now, don't you wish you would have kept the house cooler Thanks for passing that on Hutch !

With the projected budget out to the public at the government center and the library at over 600 pages we asked why this is not on the web broken up into sections ? I was told that they could not do it. Why? This is such an important document, we feel a person should be able to sit at home and review the contents of it at their leisure. Oh Yes, you want a copy? .30 a page please ! And yes, there are few eye openers that we will bring to you as we get time. Note: Public Hearing to Consider Final Budget for Fiscal Year 2006-2007 will Commence on Monday September 18th at 9:00 a.m. and the Meeting and Public Hearing will be Continued to September 19, 20, 21,22, 25, 26, 27, 28 and 29th, as Necessary to Conclude the Hearing and for the Adoption of the Final Budget (A Tentative Budget Hearing Schedule is Available at the Administration Office, and is Subject to Change.) As the board cries the money blues, let us watch what they feel it is important to spend money on. While other counties talk about increased property tax revenues, Mariposa County has not mentioned it. http://www.calaverasenterprise.com/articles/2006/09/12/news/news03.txt
