With today's rain it must have snowed up at this elevation
of over 9,000 feet.

Just a little more than we had last October, but that rain came late in the month. Will winter come early this year? We do not know, but we are prepared for it already. A great story in the Modesto Bee. A big salute from the staff of the Goldrushcam / Sierra Sun Times for completing this grueling trip of 17 miles in one day. They started at 5:00 AM and finished at 10:00 PM Congratulations to the eight scouts and the leaders that went with them.
