2006 South Fork Of The Merced Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

In Yosemite National Park yesterday over at Wawona a
ribbon cutting ceremony was held for the new bridge that
crosses the South Fork of the Merced River.
Mariposa County Supervisor Bob Pickard (second from left),
Yosemite National Park Superintendent Mike Tollefson (second
from right), residents and highway officials were on hand
for the ceremony.

Here is a photo of the new bridge over the river.
It is a gorgeous design.
A tip of the hat from the Goldrushcam / Sierra Sun Times to the architect and the workers who built this bridge.
