Quartz Crystals At Ironstone Winery In Murphys,California

Quartz Crystals two to three feet long are on display
and for sale at the Ironstone Winery in Murphys, California.
The bear is life size and gives a perspective on how big these
crystals can grow given enough time and the right conditions.

Those crystals are amazing. They make me wonder how old they are and how long it took for them to get to this size! The Ironstone Winery is an amazing place with lots of beautiful and interesting things to see. I really like Murphys, it's a nice town with many great shops. If you go there make sure you check out a shop called "Stories in Stones", if you're into the earth sciences or rocks in general. It's an amazing shop with a very knowledgeable and friendly staff.
