Lush Meadows January Snow

Thursday evening the tail end of a weather system that
rained on Mariposa County most of the day, left a good bye
present as the temps were falling the light rain turned
to gently falling snow, covered the ground white.

Yes the weatherman had the snow level pegged at 4,000 feet, but the prayers of Mariposa children for a Friday snow day had the snow level down to around 3,000 feet. Not enough for a snow day we do not think but maybe Mariposa Pines at around 4,000 feet received a lot more snow.
