The Merced River in January is a spectacular site
as it froths and foams it's way out of Yosemite.
The water crashes into automobile sized boulders that then
sprays high into the morning light

Ruth C. of Mariposa sent in this photo a couple of weeks ago and the more we look at it, the more we like it.

Is there another cat in Mariposa County that has more captivating eyes?
We do not think so !

A GREAT SITE; I HAD BEEN WONDERING ABOUT THE STRIPES ON THE HIGHWAY AND NOW FROM YOUR NEWSPAPER HAVE FOUND OUT.
