" Frozen Pohono "
Bridalveil Fall in Yosemite National Park on a cold
January late afternoon is mostly frozen as the water
cascades over the top and freezes into huge icicles.
The native Indians first named this fall Pohono, which
means "Puff of Wind" because as the cool night air
rushes down the face of this fall a wind is generated.
