North Fork Merced River,Yosemite Photos,Yosemite 2004

The North Fork of the Merced River begins in the high country of Yosemite and meanders down through Wawona. The granite river rocks pictured here have been washed smooth from hundreds and hundreds of winter snow melts. The rocks can be very slippery when wet in the water so take care if you walk in the water. The Merced is a very welcoming relief on those hot Yosemite afternoons.
