Clouds Forming Over The Sierra Nevada Mountain Range

' Sierra Clouds '
In the afternoon hours clouds will form over the crest of the
Sierra - Nevada mountain range. These clouds can reach around
40,000 feet in elevation and can form and disappear in a few minutes
or linger around for hours and produce rain, thunder and lightning.
