' The River Of Mercy! '
The 'Mighty Merced River' is not much more than a trickle today as the high country snows are about melted for the year.
Even these jet skiers who went up past the Bagby Bridge returned in a
few minutes as the water depth could not support the machines!
This photo is from the Bagby Recreation area just off of Highway 49 North headed to Coulterville, California from Mariposa, California.
Just North of this bridge is a fantastic outcropping of Serpentine and everyone knows where there is Serpentine usually gold can be found!
