Head up Highway 120 (Tioga Pass) to Lake Tenaya and swim
in brisk refreshing snowmelt water!
This is where Chief Tenaya's final remnants of his tribe was finally
captured in the 1850's as they were being pursued.
After capture the tribe was led to a reservation near Fresno, California.
