Perched Erratic In Yosemite National Park

' Perched Erratic ! '
Eric S. of Mariposa was in the Mount Starr King area of Yosemite
National Park where there are perched (An elevated place)
erratics (Erratics are rocks that were carried on top of or in glaciers,
and when the glaciers melted they deposited the rocks on top of the terrain).
A lot of times, erratics will be made up of a different composition than the surrounding rock because the glacier has carried it a long way!
