Eclipse Over Mariposa County

' Total Eclipse of the Moon ! '

The moon was eclipsed early this morning,
giving off a eerie orange glow as outside the darkness
of night took over while the air was still with tension.
Far away the lonesome sound of dogs howling could be heard!

This was a 2.5 second exposure with an ISO of 400 with a 400mm telephoto lens on a tripod of course!
Then pushing the exposure a couple of stops.

Wow! Thanks for taking the picture of the eclipse.....I tried to stay up, but fell asleep and missed it. Now I really wish I'd set my alarm.
