A Mariposa County Sunrise

'Sunrise!'
When you arise early in Mariposa County, sights like this can
sometimes be seen. Ruth C. of Mariposa photographed this scene
yesterday morning as the sun was rising over the Sierra - Nevada Range.
The stillness of a new morning that hangs in the air can almost be felt as
if everything is silently waiting for a new day to begin!
