Railroad Water Tanks,Yosemite Photos,Yosemite 2004

Here are the water tanks that were moved from Bagby ,
about 28 river miles south, to El Portal.
I would love to have been able to hear the rumble of the train coming up the canyon
and occasionally sounding it's horn as it made it's way up to Yosemite.
When going up the 140 to Yosemite, roll down the windows
and just listen to the river and the wind in the branches of the trees talk to you.
