Yosemite Winter! <BR>On the trail above Mirror Lake going to Snow Creek, Ahwiyah Point at 6,900 feet of elevation stands out as Half Dome towers overhead. <BR>'Ahwiyah' is a Southern Sierra Miwok name for 'Lake' : 'Deep' possibly as a reference to Mirror Lake which many years ago was deeper than it is today.
