Yosemite Winter! <BR>Bridalveil Fall on a February afternoon. As the temperature warms up the ice on top of and on the side of the fall, it breaks free and crashes down with LOUD booms that echo throughout the valley. On a quiet winter day the sounds of other nearby falls can be heard as the ice free falls over the tops of their falls as if in response.
