hornitos ,wells fargo building

On the main street of Hornitos a person can see the remains of the old Wells Fargo building,at one time shipping $40,000 a day of gold out of town. Next to this building is where Mr. Ghirardelli first set up shop in the United States. After being unsuccessful here,he moved to San Francisco and started a little candy company you may have heard of.

The Hornitos annual enchilada dinner is today,please drive out to support the restoration of this historic area.
